General tasks#

General tasks help users to managing rules, modeling sets, test and training sets and flows computation.

The tasks contained in this family can be divided into four main groups:

Structures Management#

The following tasks have been created for structure management purposes:

Tasks layout

The Convert tasks share a common layout, consisting of the Options tab.

Warning

The Convert Dataset to Model and the Convert Model to Dataset tasks require no parameters or options to define, making it only necessary to compute the task to transform the dataset.

The sentence “No parameters need to be set for this task: just compute the task by right-clicking it and selecting Compute > Compute selected” will appear as opening the two tasks.

Refer to the corresponding tasks’ pages for more information.

Modeling sets management#

The following tasks have been created for training, test, and modelling sets management purposes:

It is strongly recommended using a Split Data task before building a predictive model with the Classification, Regression and Clustering tasks. Then, the Apply Model task will apply the models generated by the chosen task to data.

Tasks layout

The Modelling sets management tasks share a common layout, consisting of an Options tab, except the Apply Model, which presents another tab: the Results tab.

Refer to the corresponding tasks’ pages for more information.

Automation of flow computation#

The following tasks can be used to manage the computation of the flow they are working on:

Tasks layout

These tasks have a common layout consisting of an Options tab, except for the Execute Rulex Flow File task, which has the Configuration tab, too.

Refer to the corresponding tasks’ pages for more information.

Management and application of rules#

The following tasks can be used to manage rules:

Tasks layout

The rules management tasks have a common layout, made of the Options tab, but the Optimize Ruleset task has the Monitor and the Results tabs.

Refer to the corresponding tasks’ pages for more information.
