Evaluation tasks#
The purpose of evaluation is to calculate the quality, value or importance of something. Therefore, the Evaluation tasks have been designed to help users visualize rules through interactive graphics that change according to values.
The Evaluation tasks don’t have an output, and they don’t require any computation.
In Rulex Factory, users are provided with three Evaluation tasks:
All Evaluation tasks can be used with Classification category tasks, apart from the Feature Ranking task, which can be used with any task generating rulesets, so it can be used also with the Regression LLM, Hierarchical Basket Analysis (if the generated association rules are first converted into a ruleset), and Similar Items Detector (if the generated association rules are first converted into a ruleset) tasks.
Evaluation tasks layout#
These three tasks have one main tab, but in the Feature Ranking task two tabs are available in the ranking pane.
